Terms & Conditions
Last updated 6 October 2026
In short
- Free for 14 days, then you pay for a fixed plan. No auto-debit.
- If your plan ends, nothing is deleted. The app turns view only.
- Your business data belongs to you. You can download it any time.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Hisab-Kitab (“we”, “us”), the team that runs the Hisab-Kitab app and website. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and allowed to act for your business.
- Your business name, GSTIN and address must be correct, because they print on your bills.
- Keep your login safe. You are responsible for everything done from your account.
3. Free trial
Every new business gets one free trial of 14 days, starting the minute sign-up is finished. The trial includes the whole app. We don’t ask for payment details, and nothing is charged when it ends.
4. Plans and payment
- A plan is a fixed length of time, currently 1 month or 3 months. Every plan includes the whole app.
- Prices are shown in the app and on our website, and include 18% GST.
- Each plan is a one-time payment. We never charge you automatically.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank password.
- We send a GST invoice for every payment, in your business name.
5. When a plan starts and ends
Every plan has a start and an end time, to the minute, shown in the app under Subscription. If you pay while a trial or plan is running, the new plan starts the exact minute the current one ends, so you never lose time. If nothing is running, it starts the minute your payment is confirmed.
6. When you don’t have an active plan
When your trial or plan ends, your account becomes view only. You can still see, search, share and download all your data, but you can’t add, edit or delete anything until you renew. We don’t delete data because a plan has ended.
7. Your data
The bills, stock, parties and payments you enter belong to you. We only use them to run the app for you, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Hisab-Kitab helps you keep records and prepare GST and ITR filings, but it is not tax or legal advice. Please check your filings, or ask your CA.
8. Fair use
Don’t use Hisab-Kitab to make false or fake invoices, to break any law, to copy or take apart the app, or to harm our systems or other users. We may suspend accounts that do this.
9. Changes to prices and these terms
We may change prices or add new plan lengths. A price change never affects a plan you have already paid for. We will tell you about important changes to these terms in the app at least 30 days before they apply.
10. Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time from Help in the app. Download your data first. We delete your data within 30 days of closing, except records we must keep by law, such as payment and invoice records.
11. Limits of our responsibility
We work hard to keep Hisab-Kitab running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never have errors or downtime. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the problem.
12. Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in Nagpur. Please write to us first. Most problems can be solved quickly. See Contact us.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
In short
- There’s no auto-debit, so there’s nothing to cancel. A plan simply ends.
- Full refund if you ask within 7 days of paying.
- Money taken for a failed payment comes back on its own.
1. Cancelling
Every plan is a one-time payment for a fixed time, so you never need to cancel. When the plan’s end time comes, it stops and nothing more is charged. Your account becomes view only and your data stays safe. The free trial also ends on its own, with no charge.
2. Refunds
- If you’re not happy, ask within 7 days of paying and we will refund the full amount.
- After that, we don’t refund the unused part of a plan.
- When a refund is made, that plan ends and your account becomes view only, unless another plan is running.
3. Failed or double payments
If money was taken but your payment failed, or you were charged twice, it is returned automatically to the same account or card within 5-7 working days. You don’t need to ask.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email support@hisabkitab.website from your registered email, or use Help in the app. Include your registered email and the payment ID (it starts with “pay_”). You can find it in the app under Profile → Subscription → Payments.
5. When you get the money
We reply within 7 working days. Approved refunds are sent through Razorpay to the way you paid, and usually reach you within 5-7 working days.

Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
In short
- Hisab-Kitab is an app. Nothing is shipped to you.
- Your plan turns on in the app as soon as payment is confirmed.
1. What you receive
A plan gives your account full access to the Hisab-Kitab app for the length you bought. There are no physical goods, so there are no shipping charges.
2. When it’s delivered
Your plan turns on as soon as Razorpay confirms the payment, usually within seconds. If your bank takes longer, as sometimes happens with UPI, it can take up to a few hours; the app shows the plan as soon as it is confirmed. If you paid during a running trial or plan, the new plan starts the minute the current one ends.
3. Where it’s delivered
The plan belongs to your account, so it works on any phone you log in from. Your GST invoice appears in the app under Subscription and is emailed to you right away.
4. If your plan doesn’t turn on
Open Subscription and tap “Paid but not showing?” to check again. If it still doesn’t show, contact us with your payment ID and we will fix it within 2 working days.
